1st anniversary of my 1st published review

I'm treating myself with a lightning trip to Brisbane this afternoon to see Handel's Faramondo as part of the Brisbane Baroque Festival. Why? Today marks the anniversary of my first published review which hit the internet on 16th April 2104 with the publication of my review of Opera Australia's 2104 Melbourne season opener, Rigloletto, on Opera Australia's theoperablog.com. It all started after being selected by Opera Australia for their inaugural Critic-in-Training Program.

During this one-year period I've published a total of 56 Reviews and 2 Previews across various websites and I've recently been contributing to The Herald Sun Melbourne.

Thank you to all who have inspired me along the way and to those who have read my reviews with interest. Here are the links to the year's work if you happen to be vaguely interested:

5 Reviews for The Herald Sun, Melbourne

9 Reviews for Sydney-based website aussietheatre.com

2 Reviews and 2 Previews for Los Angeles-based website stageandcinema.com

20 Reviews for my blog OperaChaser (including two sample reviews submitted to Opera Australia prior to being selected for their inaugural Critic-in-Training Program).

Here's to more wonderful and adventurous operachasing in the following year!
